Artist's Prayer: By Brian F. M. Barlow

Dear Lord,

I come to You this day, this hour, this moment, this heart to say it’s not in words not like most would know but in a language You’ve given me all my own. For a little while Your hand is with me to create, to share Your love Your Peace.

In a world so dark pictured cold and grey You reached down and touched me today. From that touch a gift was given to share, as You kissed my vision, my eyes were aware.

Your hand moved mine and I began to see the heart of a Father full of forgiveness for me. The colors were bold and the canvas large where Your hand painted a story of love in charge. The dark world can now see what was true all along what was hidden in darkness is now a radiant song!

I hope to paint Your heart for a world needing hope and grace, picturing as You desire Your “Art” In faith
